Indy 500 Fast Facts - Meet the Field
Thirty-three drivers have been named to the 34 entries filed for the 99th running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 24, 2015. All entries will use Dallara chassis and Firestone tires, with Chevrolet and Honda Engines and Aerokits, split evenly with 17 provided by each manufacturer.
The field is filled with some impressive credentials: 20 of the 33 current entries have won at least one race in IndyCar competition, six of whom are past Indy 500 winners and seven of which hold the title of Series Champion.
