IndyCar: Big points swings possible with 4 races to go
Starting with Saturday night's race at the Iowa Corn 300, Verizon IndyCar Series drivers will have four races left to secure the championship or improve their place in the final standings. Championship leader Juan Montoya has held the top ranking since the season opened in March, and with a 54-point cushion over Scott Dixon (439-385), the Team Penske Chevy driver will be doing his best to maintain the gap and secure his second Indy car title. Dixon (-54), Graham Rahal and Helio Castroneves (-69), Will Power (-70), and Sebastien Bourdais (-96) hold second through fifth in the championship, and have more than enough points – and time – left to overtake JPM.
