RACER Video: Indy 'Pit Crew' home build with Robin Miller
The IndyCar community is coming together this week to build a house for a disabled veteran and his two sons in the shadow of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In a project led by Trevor Michener, a spotter for Dale Coyne, The Pit Crew consists of members of six IndyCar teams along with help from ABC Supply, Performance Tire Service, Firestone, Allison Transmission and Byrd's Cafeteria. They are teaming up to construct a house for U.S. Army vet Frank Gazvoda in five days. Mechanics from Chip Ganassi, CFH Racing, Andretti Autosport, Schmidt-Peterson, Team Penske and Dale Coyne Racing started in shifts last Monday and will christen the new house Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
