Pigot joins RLL for selected 2016 races
– Newly-crowned Indy Lights champion Spencer Pigot will take part in at least three IndyCar races, including the Indianapolis 500, with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing in 2016.Pigot recorded six race victories and four further podium finishes en route to this year's Lights title, adding to his Pro Mazda Championship crown from the previous season.The American, 22, is set to contest the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Grand Prix of Indianapolis and the 100th running of the Indy 500, with both parties working to add more races."I'm very excited and honoured to be starting my career in IndyCar with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing," said Pigot, who made his test debut with Penske...
