Veteran Indy car driver Oriol Servia wants to extend his career by focusing on sportscars. The Catalonian isn't done with open-wheel racing, and has kept busy with select IndyCar and FIA Formula E races over the last 12 month, but says it's time to shift gears and find a home in IMSA's WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. "I've been preparing for this for many years; I've raced at the Daytona 24 Hours and really liked it, and it's the right time. It's almost a necessity," Servia told RACER.
