Carpenter to return under own banner
– Ed Carpenter will return to IndyCar under his own team's name after his association with Sarah Fisher and Wink Hartman came to an end.The outfit was known as CFH Racing in 2015 and fielded Josef Newgarden full-time in one car, while Carpenter (on ovals) and Luca Filippi (on road/street courses) shared the other car.Newgarden has already been retained for 2016 and will drive the No. 21 machine while Carpenter confirmed that he will race the No. 20 during the five oval races this year."After competing for a year as CFH Racing, we will be returning to ECR for 2016 and beyond," said Carpenter."While we had a great year as CFH Racing, we have had some partnership changes...
