INDYCAR: Teams gear up for testing season
Momentum is starting to build towards the first race of the season for the Verizon IndyCar Series. Following a multi-team test at Sebring on Feb. 1, six more tests are scheduled this month as teams participate in outings scheduled by their respective engine/aero kit manufacturers, by the series, and for tests designed to give rookies their first runs in 2016.Starting on Feb. 8 at Phoenix International Raceway, Chevrolet will log miles on the short oval with a total of seven drivers representing Ed Carpenter Racing, KVSH Racing, and Team Penske.
