Former European Formula 3 star Felix Rosenqvist turned in the fastest lap in the dying seconds of the first Indy Lights practice at St. Petersburg. Belardi Auto Racing's new star lapped the 1.8-mile track in  1min07.189sec, an average speed of 96.444mph to edge Scott Hargrove into second by 0.1195sec. Hargrove, who is so far guaranteed only this St. Petersburg race, has thus put Team Pelfrey right in the mix on the team’s debut at this level.
