Andy Brown, an engineer on multiple Indianapolis 500 and IndyCar Series-winning teams, has signed on to engineer Matthew Brabham's PIRTEK Team Murray/KV Racing Technology program as the third-generation driver attempts to qualify for the 100th Indianapolis 500. Brown was the assistant technical director when Al Unser Jr. won the 1992 Indy 500 in Galles Racing's self-built Galmer chassis and went on to engineer Sam Hornish Jr.'s back-to-back Indy Racing League titles in 2001 and '02 at Panther Racing.
