IndyCar has confirmed it will return to Watkins Glen for the first time since the circuit was dropped from the calendar in 2010. The race will form the penultimate round of the 2016 calendar after the inaugural Boston event was cancelled earlier this month, with promoters of the event blaming the 'untenable' relationship with city officials.
