INDYCAR: Enerson shines in series debut
As first days go in IndyCar racing, RC Enerson scored an 11 – out of 10. The 19-year-old rookie from Florida was about as impressive as a newcomer to the Verizon IndyCar series could be during Friday's opening rounds of practice for Sunday's Honda Indy 200. With only one day of testing Dale Coyne's Honda early this month, Enerson made a dazzling debut with the big boys and posted the 10th-fastest lap around the twisty, testy 2.258-mile Mid-Ohio road course, jumping from 21st fastest in the first session to seventh quick in the second.
