Mikhail Aleshin hit the top of the timesheets at Pocono Raceway as Ryan Hunter-Reay, Charlie Kimball and Juan Montoya all hit the wall during the only practice before qualifying for the ABC Supply 500. Aleshin clocked a tow-assisted 221.932mph lap to head a Schmidt Peterson Motorsports-Honda 1-2 ahead of teammate James Hinchcliffe, with Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi and Carlos Munoz making it four Honda-powered cars in the top six.
