INDYCAR: Lights champ Jones works to land ride
Newly-crowned Indy Lights champion Ed Jones believes that he needs to be in IndyCar full-time next year if he is to make the most of the opportunity he earned for winning the title. Rookies have generally found it difficult to establish a long-term foothold in IndyCar in recent years, and Jones points to the progress that 2015 Lights champion Spencer Pigot made this year when he was able to turn his three-race prize drive with RLL into a seat with Ed Carpenter Racing.
