IndyCar extends Dallara deal through 2020
– IndyCar has extended its deal with chassis manufacturer Dallara through 2020.Italian company Dallara began its IndyCar affiliation back in 1997, with series officials announcing the fresh agreement at the North American International Auto Show on Thursday.IndyCar will soon outline plans for new bodywork, which will give the Dallara IR-12 chassis a fresh look for 2018, while teams are set to be given more flexibility and control over parts."Dallara has been an instrumental partner to IndyCar and we look forward to having them continue in this important role," said Jay Frye, IndyCar President, Competition and Operations."Dallara's safety record gives IndyCar and its...
