Live news and notes from Monday's Indy 500 practice at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. 10:00 a.m.: The first day of practice for the 101st Indy 500 is here and it will start with two hours of dedicated Rookie Orientation Program running for Fernando Alonso, Jack Harvey, Ed Jones and Zach Veach from 12-2 p.m.. The same two-hour period will also be used for refreshers to give the likes of Spencer Pigot, Sebastian Saavedra and others with limited oval outings since last year's 500 a chance to get up to speed with relatively few cars on track.
