Sebastien Bourdais has been discharged from the IU Health Methodist Hospital where he was being treated following a high-speed crash during qualifying for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 last Saturday. The Frenchman suffered multiple pelvic fractures and a fractured right hip when he struck the Turn 2 wall, resulting in immediate surgery. On Thursday, Bourdais was discharged and will now undergo rehabilitation for several weeks before he can walk unaided again.
