Castroneves stays hot in opening Toronto practice
Helio Castroneves hasn't slowed down since winning the Iowa Corn 300 last Sunday. The Team Penske Chevy driver led the field Friday morning on the drying streets of Toronto with a lap of 1m01.1211s to lead teammates Josef Newgarden in second (+0.3887s) and Simon Pagenaud (0.4234s) to sweep the top three spots. Chip Ganassi Racing's Scott Dixon, who leads Castroneves in the championship by eight points, was fourth overall and fastest among the Honda-powered entries (+0.5829s).
