Images released of race cars destroyed in shop fire
Leavine Family Racing lost four cars in the blaze. Last Friday morning before the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Kansas Speedway, reports emerged that a fire had consumed the Leavine Family Racing shop. No one was injured, but the damage was significant. The single-car operation went on to finish 31st with Michael McDowell in the Kansas race. We now have images from inside the damaged North Carolina shop, courtesy of the team. Four cars were destroyed, which is essentially half of their fleet.
