INDYCAR: Power bounces back in second practice
Will Power tried to knock down the wall Friday morning but the 2014 IndyCar champion was knocking on the door of his own track record a few hours later. After tearing off the right side of his Verizon Dallara-Chevy only five laps into the opening practice period, Power bounced back to post the fastest time of the afternoon session with a lap of 1:00.943 – just a fraction behind his mark of 1:01.650 set last year. Defending IndyCar champion Scott Dixon was close behind at 1:00.957 in the Target Chevy followed by Simon Pagenaud at 1:01.179 in a Team Penske Chevrolet.
