Juan Pablo Montoya has ended the opening practice session of the IndyCar Grand Prix of Long Beach fastest, ahead of Penske team-mate Will Power and British racer Jack Hawksworth. The 21 drivers were eager to get their preparations for the 80-lap race underway at the start of the opening practice session, immediately leaving the confines of the pits and taking to the majestic Californian street course.
