INDYCAR: Superteams struggle in qualifying
Team Penske's Simon Pagenaud earned pole position and Chip Ganassi Racing's Charlie Kimball qualified an excellent second, but for the rest of the drivers in IndyCar's superteams, qualifying for the Grand Prix of Indianapolis was filled with disappointment. Out of four Team Penske drivers, Pagenaud was the lone representative to make the Firestone Fast Six, and Kimball held the same distinction for Ganassi. Other than Pagenaud in P1, this Chevy-powered teammates will take the start in eighth (Juan Montoya), 12th (Will Power) and 15th (Helio Castroneves). Behind Kimball's P2, Ganassi's Chevy squad will start seventh (Tony Kanaan), ninth (Scott Dixon) and 13th (Max Chilton). Related Stories...
