Hildebrand unhurt in 'unnecessary' Gateway crash
JR Hildebrand is hoping that his car will be repaired in time to salvage a few more laps at today's IndyCar test at Gateway after he walled the No.21 Ed Carpenter Racing Chevy late in the morning. Hildebrand, who returned to the cockpit at Phoenix last weekend after missing the previous race at Barber with a hand injury, damaged the right side of his car when he was caught out by the wind in Turn 2.
