Father Time wound the clock back to zero for Helio Castroneves Sunday night in Iowa. Three years, one month and eight days since his last Verizon IndyCar Series win, Castroneves triumphed for Team Penske and Chevy and shot into second in the championship standings. The 42-year-old Brazilian, who cut Scott Dixon's championship lead to eight points, was the class of the field during the 300-lap visit to the 0.875-mile oval. Ed Carpenter Racing's JR Hildebrand was a strong second behind Castroneves to give Chevy a 1-2 and Ryan Hunter-Reay climbed out from under his personal dark cloud to capture a well-deserved third in his Andretti Autosport Honda.
